Go!
If you've been to camp before then you know what to expect, and I bet you can't wait to get back this year. I'm really proud of our great staff who is already ramping up this year to make sure we deliver the most fun, friendly, inspiring and uplifitng week you will experience all year. Check out a personal message from each of them here, to get a sneek peek at their passion for camp, and plans for each part of our week together.
Our theme is Go! It is our challenge to you. We don't mean just "go to camp", we want to see you mobilized. Be ready to go, ready to respond to the call of God and the needs of those around you. God has plans for you - in your family, in your school and even across your world. Are you ready to go?
Richard, Camp Director
“So...Teens...how are things? Good I hope! And thanks to Camp 2011, they’re about to get even gooder!
This year we’ve decided to broaden our Costume theme to not just a night of costumes, but a theme to run throughout camp! This year’s costume theme is “HAWAII” and we have come up with a couple new ideas that have been keeping a certain 29 yr old lying awake at night, giddy with excitement! Having been to Hawaii last year and missing out on going to a Luau, I figured we’d bring the Luau to us so I can experience it with all my favourite people! This party will be so radical that I guarantee you’ll be calling me Fly like a G6! We will also be bringing in one of my favourite artists, Ezra Kwizera, for a private concert. He is an awesome performer who loves to get his audience involved...so be prepared to become an expert in African Dance!
Our Special Guest Speaker:
Christina Williams
We're very happy to have Christina back as our camp speaker again this year, after six years away from youth camp. Christina has ministered at our camp over many years. She is the leader of an international women's ministry called Elevated to Excellence and is a speaker at youth camps across North America.
She is an awesome woman of God!
WORSHIP
The theme of camp this year is GO, and to be able to go you need to be fueled. This year I want worship to be Gods time to fill and equip you. During his life, Jesus made it a priority to spend time in His father's presence through prayer and worship. This was left as an example to us so as we "GO" we must not forget who sustains us and our strength is found in him. I am excited to worship and spend time in the Lords presence together this year.

If you answered yes to any of the above, do we have an opportunity for you!!! Our internship program is hands-on and interactive; an amazing week of serving others, growing in your leadership, and making a difference in the lives of teenagers!

"We're so stoked to see what God has in store for this summer's Youth Camp! As always, He will challenge and encourage you because He wants the best for you and wants you to know Him more and more. A big part of your week at camp will be spending time alongside a cabin counsellor and team leaders who are there to help you have an enjoyable experience. But even more than that, they are mentors who care about your connection to Jesus Christ and your personal relationship with Him. So, get to know your counsellor - he or she has been where you are! They will be happy to share your joys and will be sensitive to show care for your hurts. As always, if we can help make your week of camp a life-highlight type of experience, find us (or any of the other staff members). We are always glad to get to know you and encourage you!"

"The word 'Go' is used over 1500 times in the Bible, that's almost on every page! The question should not be whether or not to go, the question is where do I go?
Each morning, we'll take up this challenging question to see how Jesus commanded us to "Go". Based on the Great Commission in Acts 1:8, we'll discover where to go, who to meet along the way, and how to do it - sharing the love and the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Jesus started the greatest revolution with only twelve guys, and it all started after he died! The reason: multiplication. Though many of us may not like multiplication, it is one of the keys to wide-reaching discipleship.
Together, we'll explore these ideas expressed in the gospels and the book of Acts - with lots of group discussion with your friends, and time alone with God - just you and Him!
